Leading Chinese bus manufacturer, Yutong, built the prototype and successfully completed the trial of the unmanned passenger bus.Following the reported success of its maiden voyage, you can now actually take a look at the bus in action as point-of-view footage of a recent trip has been released, courtesy of RT’s Ruptly video agency.
The futuristic vehicle was sent on a 32km (20 mile) ride on an intercity road in Zhengzhou, China on Monday and everything went off without a hitch.
The 10.5-metre long bus comes equipped with a bunch of cameras, laser radars and wave radars, as well as its own integrated navigation system and, if the technological marvel proves a success, horribly long shifts for bus drivers could be a thing of the past.
