Incisive and creative, it targets the global Nepali with news that is credible, true and fast.An elderly, a non-participant of the protest, has fallen victim to the police firing at Mahottari district on Friday.The 75-year-old Ganesh Chaudhary, of Bajrahi in Jaleshwor-7, received bullet when police opened fire as they were chasing the protestors. Police had reached 3 km north to a place called Ratwara pursuing the running protestors.
According to locals, Chaudhary was in the Ratwara town for shopping. He received bullet in his temple.It is known that the deceased is president of Bajrahi sub-chapter of Red Cross. Before this he was the district president of the Red Cross.Altogether six people have lost their lives in Tarai protests today alone. Three died in Janakpur while one APF ASI, a woman, and the elderly (Chaudhary) died in Mahottari.
