Using only the help of a “dolphin midwife”, a pregnant woman in Hawaii has decided to give birth. Spiritual healer Dorina Rosin and her partner, Maika Suneagle, are all set to be featured in a Katie Piper Extraordinary Births documentary, to show the world how natural their birth will be. The to be parents reportedly operate a “healing retreat” in Hawaii. There they sell many different CDs, including a dolphin song. It always made sense to have a dolphin-assisted birth to Rosin and Suneagle as they claim that their unborn baby can already “speak dolphin”.Rosin said, ‘I found the dolphin people a bit out-there but they seemed so happy and the woman was so relaxed. I just thought everybody was wonderful and it was all a bit of an eye-opener.’Rosin had a long swim with the dolphins to get her 38-week blessing before going in for her ocean water birth with a dolphin midwife. Before opting for a birth with dolphins present, many doctors and scientists urge women to think twice. As they can be extremely d@nger*ous at some points.
A science journalist, Christie Wilcox, wrote about dolphins births in Discover in 2013, ‘This has to be, hands down, one of the worst natural birthing ideas anyone has ever had.’
Without any provocation whatsoever, Wilcox went on to say that dolphins have been shown to “toss, be@t, and k!*l**l” small porpoises and baby sharks. There is another risk to consider in Rosin and Suneagle’s case. As there is a possibility of a Great White Shark showing up to their peaceful birth, instead of a dolphin. The couple says they can think of no better way to bring their child into the world than in the ocean surrounded by dolphins, despite the obvious r!$*ks.
