The video shows a moment when a lion that was nearly swept away by the river was saved by the hippo which he was enjoying a minute ago. When this lion spotted a tasty hippo carcass in South Africa’s Sabi River, it couldn’t resist trying to get a free meal. However, it soon found itself outmatched by the river and instead of chowing down, it was holding
onto the hippo for dear life. At one point the cat was even swept away by the current, but eventually made its way back onto the carcass and took a few half-hearted bites. It may not have exactly been life-threatening, but this meal certainly wasn’t as easy as lion thought it was going to be. But despite of hippo’s help he didn’t stop eating its flesh, after getting on its top he again continued enjoying its flesh.
